TWO EVENTS WITH MARYA STARK - APRIL 12 & 13

UNDERGROUND RIVER
A Multi-Media Concert Performance & Film Screening Event from Marya Stark in collaboration with Jade Sanchez, Numatik and Earth Based Media.
Friday April 12th: 7 pm

The event will include a Live Concert from Marya Stark featuring Dance Choreography and community Water Ceremony with Jade Sanchez, a Dance Party with Numatik and the Screening of the short film Underground River, a collaborative ceremonial art film by Marya Stark and Earthbased Media.

This film is a celebration of the waters of the world, a movement honoring the sacredness of grief, the spirits of the elemental guardians, the weaving of the rivers, inter-generational restoration of the water gates, and the cleansing of the Soul from the depth of the waters within. It is formed around Marya's forthcoming album Underground River (a collaboration with Daniel Berkman) and is a wordless story of the journey of the waters.

To celebrate this short film and water ceremony, you are invited to dress in blues and other colors that are connected to the waters of the world.

Vocal Alchemy Sanctuary Workshop with Marya Stark
Saturday April 13th: 10 am to 12:30 pm

• Nourish your relationship with your Vessel.
• Develop new techniques and insights to incorporate into your creative writing.
• Receive guidance in several songwriting exercises and expand your skills in song catching.
• Implement creative methods to explore maps of the inner world.
• Experience a dedicated space to feed your creative muses.
• Reconnect to your Creative Spark.

Marya Stark is a discoverer of archetypes, storyteller, bard, and muse. She is a multi-media enchantress, and a carrier of myth, mystery, and medicine songs with which she embarks to create a ceremony of the human experience, taking her audience on lucid journeys through the caverns of the Soul. In addition to her solo work, Marya is also a member of the all female band Starling Arrow, along with Rising Appalachia, Tina Malia, and Ayle Nereo.
